A fantastic antique bronze ashtray and sculpture of the caduceus of Hygieia. The serpent, long associated with Hygieia, represents renewal and protection.
This highly collectable piece features a wonderful silhouette and a well-patinated exterior. The form is controlled, balancing weight and line with perfect tension. The shallow bowl shows natural heat marking from use.
A functional piece with a distinctly sculptural presence. Perfect for styling a-top a mantel piece. Sourced in France.
