Welcome to ATTIQUE. By using our website and purchasing from us, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before placing an order.

1. About Us

ATTIQUE is a dealer in vintage, antique and decorative objects.

Throughout these Terms & Conditions, "we", "us", and "our" refer to ATTIQUE. "You" refers to the customer or website user.

2. Products

ATTIQUE specialises in vintage, antique and pre-owned items. Due to the nature of these objects, signs of age, wear, patina, restoration, repairs, imperfections and variations should be expected.

We make every effort to accurately photograph and describe each item. However:

  • Colours may vary between screens and devices.
  • Minor signs of age and use may not always be visible in photographs.
  • Natural wear consistent with age is not considered a defect.

All dimensions, descriptions, dates, origins and attributions are provided in good faith and to the best of our knowledge.

3. Availability

All items are offered subject to availability.

Because many pieces are one-of-a-kind, items cannot be reserved without payment. An order is only secured once payment has been received in full.

We reserve the right to cancel an order and issue a refund if an item becomes unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control.

4. Pricing

All prices are shown in Pounds Sterling (£).

We reserve the right to amend prices at any time without notice. Any price changes will not affect orders already accepted.

Shipping costs may be charged separately where indicated on the product listing.

5. Payment

Payment must be received in full before an order is dispatched or collection is arranged.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order where payment cannot be verified.

6. Shipping and Delivery

Orders are generally dispatched within 2-3 working days unless otherwise stated.

Delivery estimates are provided for guidance only and are not guaranteed.

We are not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Customs clearance
  • Courier delays
  • Weather events
  • Industrial action
  • Circumstances outside our reasonable control

All shipments are sent with tracking and insurance where available.

Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery.

7. International Orders

International shipping costs may be quoted separately and must be paid before dispatch.

Import duties, taxes, customs charges and local fees may apply depending on the destination country.

Where applicable, customs and import charges may be invoiced before dispatch. Any additional duties, taxes or fees imposed after shipment remain the responsibility of the customer.

ATTIQUE is not responsible for delays caused by customs processes.

8. Collection

Collection from Surrey may be available by appointment.

Customers collecting items are responsible for ensuring suitable transport and handling arrangements.

Risk transfers to the customer once the item has been collected.

9. Returns and Refunds

Due to the vintage, antique and one-of-a-kind nature of our stock, customers are encouraged to carefully review all photographs, descriptions and dimensions before purchasing.

If an item arrives materially different from its description or has an undisclosed fault, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery and provide supporting photographs where requested.

Where a return is agreed:

  • The item must be returned in its original condition.
  • The item must be securely repacked.
  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless required by law.
  • Return shipping costs may be the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise required by law.

Refunds will only be processed once the returned item has been received and inspected.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws.

10. Transit Damage

If an item arrives damaged, you must contact us within 48 hours of delivery and provide:

  • Photographs of the packaging
  • Photographs of the item
  • Photographs clearly showing the damage

We reserve the right to investigate all claims before determining an appropriate remedy.

Failure to provide requested evidence within a reasonable timeframe may affect our ability to recover losses from the carrier and may impact available remedies.

11. Authenticity and Attribution

Any information regarding age, maker, origin, provenance or attribution is provided in good faith and based on research, experience and available evidence.

Unless expressly stated, no warranty or guarantee is given regarding attribution, provenance or age.

12. Trade and Sourcing Services

Any sourcing, trade, design, styling or procurement services provided by ATTIQUE will be subject to separate terms where applicable.

Availability of sourced items cannot be guaranteed.

13. Intellectual Property

All website content, including photographs, text, branding, logos and graphics, remains the property of ATTIQUE unless otherwise stated.

Content may not be copied, reproduced, distributed or used without prior written permission.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ATTIQUE shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from the use of our website or products.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

15. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
